Robert Stromberg // founder + Chief Creative Officer

is the 2-Time Academy Award winner for the production design on Avatar and Alice in Wonderland, and the Director of Disney’s Maleficent which has passed over $760MM in worldwide box office, the highest grossing directorial debut in history. No one can make a claim to a better track record of creating new and imaginative worlds using the top virtual camera tools. No one is more qualified to tackle the visual challenge of designing specifically for the immersive experience of VR.

Guy Primus // founder + Chief Executive Officer

is the former Chief Operating Officer of Overbrook Entertainment, the film and television production company founded by actor/producer Will Smith and producer James Lassiter. He also co-founded and managed Tentpole Ventures, a seed-stage tech investment fund that focuses on consumer lifestyle companies and whose portfolio includes Pinterest, DogVacay, Fancy and Loom (acquired by Dropbox) for Smith. Prior to joining Overbrook, Guy was Director of Digital Media at Starbucks, where he co-created the popular "Pick of the Week" program. As Group Product Marketing Manager for Microsoft's MSN Entertainment, Guy earned the company an ad:Tech award for his creation of "The Scenario" for Sprite. He also served as Vice President of Strategy & Planning for Blue Flame, the marketing and advertising agency founded by Sean “Diddy” Combs. Guy is a member of the Georgia Tech Advisory Board and chairman of the advisory board of Georgia Tech’s School of Industrial Engineering, and was honored as a "Captain of Industry" by the Institute of Industrial Engineers.

Chris Edwards // founder + Advisor

is the Founder and CEO of The Third Floor, the world’s leading previsualization studio which services up to 40 major studio feature films each year. Recent credits include Marvel franchises like Avengers and X-Men, the new Godzilla, Gravity, and many many more. He began his career in digital cinematography at Disney before working for George Lucas at Skywalker Ranch. After 10 years of building a massive database of 3D assets, and servicing the world’s top Directors, no one is more qualified or has as much infrastructure to pioneer the proper pipeline for CG VR content creation.

Joel Newton // founder

is a producer and entrepreneur who has extensive experience at the crossroads of media, content, distribution, and sports. After building an
Oscar-Nominated management/production company, where he represented hundreds of screenwriters and directors, Newton joined Stromberg and Edwards to launch Hydra, their collective IP development studio. Newton helped architect the Hydra Process, a 10-phase reinvention of film development and production. No one is more qualified to manage the convergence of storytelling and technological tools with the business development required to make VRC the world’s leader in VR stories and experiences.
